ISTANBUL: Former Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah has passed away at the age of 82, reported the Kuwait News Agency Kuna on Saturday. Jaber, born in 1942, held various positions since 1968, included governor of Hawalli and Ahmadi, and holding ministerial posts in social affairs, labor, information, interior, and defense. He also served as deputy prime minister. In 2011, Jaber was appointed prime minister, a position he held until 2019. Source: Anadolu Agency
