Paris: French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot stated on Sunday that France has not deployed military resources to support Israel in intercepting Iranian missile attacks. Barrot emphasized that the decision was influenced by the current nature and trajectory of the strikes.

According to Anadolu Agency, Barrot made this announcement during an interview with RTL radio. He clarified that "at this stage, and given the nature and trajectory of the Iranian attacks against Israel, French military resources have not been mobilized."

On Friday, French President Emmanuel Macron indicated that France might participate in operations to protect and defend Israel if there were Iranian retaliation against Israeli strikes. Macron mentioned that such involvement would depend on France's capability to act.

Macron also urged all parties to exercise restraint and accused Iran of not fulfilling its international obligations regarding nuclear issues, holding it largely responsible for regional instability. He reiterated France's commitment to Israel's security.
