Gaza: Palestinian medics and rescue teams have recovered three additional bodies from the rubble in the Gaza Strip, raising the overall death toll from Israel's war since October 2023 to 48,577, as reported by the Health Ministry on Monday. The ministry's statement also confirmed that the toll included a Palestinian killed by Israeli army fire and another who succumbed to injuries within the last 24 hours.

According to Anadolu Agency, nine more injured Palestinians have been transferred to hospitals, increasing the total number of injuries to 112,041 during the Israeli onslaught. The ministry highlighted that many victims remain trapped under rubble and on the roads, as rescuers are unable to reach them.

A ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement has been in effect in Gaza since January 19, halting the Israeli war that caused extensive destruction and left the Palestinian enclave in devastation. Despite the ceasefire, Gaza local authorities have reported nearly daily ceasefire violations by the Israeli army.

In November of the previous year, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza.
