Gaza: Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip have resulted in the deaths of at least 11 more Palestinians, raising the death toll from the ongoing conflict since October 2023 to 50,944, according to the Health Ministry on Sunday. A statement from the ministry also reported that 111 more injured individuals were transported to hospitals in the last 24 hours, escalating the total number of injuries to 116,156 due to the Israeli offensive. According to Anadolu Agency, the statement highlighted that many victims remain trapped under debris and on the roads, as rescue efforts are hindered. The Israeli army initiated an unexpected aerial campaign on the Gaza Strip on March 18, resulting in 1,574 deaths and 4,115 injuries, despite an existing ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement established in January. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel is currently facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice concerning its actions in the enclave.
