Gaza: At least 52,495 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's genocidal war since October 2023, the Health Ministry said on Saturday. A ministry statement revealed that 77 people were killed in Israeli attacks in the enclave in the last 48 hours, while 275 others were injured, increasing the number of injuries to 118,366 in the Israeli onslaught. The statement added that many victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers face challenges in reaching them.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli army resumed its assaults on the Gaza Strip on March 18 and has since killed 2,396 people and injured 6,325 others, disrupting a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that had been in place since January. The conflict has escalated tensions and resulted in significant casualties.

Last November, the International Criminal Court took action by issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Furthermore, Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the enclave.
