Gaza: The death toll in Gaza has climbed to 50,300 following Israeli airstrikes that claimed the lives of 26 more Palestinians in the last 24 hours. The Health Ministry reported that since October 2023, these strikes have resulted in a total of 50,277 fatalities.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Health Ministry confirmed the discovery of one body from the rubble within the past day. Additionally, 70 more individuals were injured and have been transported to hospitals, increasing the total number of injuries since the Israeli operations began to 114,095.

The Health Ministry emphasized the dire situation, stating, "Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, with rescuers unable to reach them." This adds to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.

Since March 18, a sudden aerial assault by Israel on Gaza has resulted in the deaths of at least 921 Palestinians and injuries to 2,054 others. This assault disrupted a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that had been in place since January.

In a related development, last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Furthermore, Israel is currently facing charges of genocide at the International Court of Justice concerning its actions in the enclave.
