Gaza: At least 39 more Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll from Israel's war since October 2023 to 51,305, the Health Ministry reported on Wednesday. A ministry statement indicated that 105 more injured individuals were transferred to hospitals, increasing the number of injuries to 117,096 amid the ongoing Israeli onslaught. The statement highlighted that many victims remain trapped under the rubble and on roads as rescuers struggle to reach them.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli army resumed its offensive on the Gaza Strip on March 18, resulting in the deaths of 1,928 individuals and injuries to over 5,000 others, despite a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took effect in January. The continuation of hostilities has intensified scrutiny on Israel's actions.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice concerning its conflict in the enclave.
