Gaza: At least 54,249 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's ongoing conflict since October 2023, the Health Ministry reported on Thursday. A ministry statement noted that 67 bodies were brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours, and the death toll increased following the addition of 98 names to the registry after their data was completed.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Health Ministry also reported that 184 people were injured, raising the total number of injuries to 123,492 as a result of the Israeli onslaught. Many victims are reportedly still trapped under rubble and on roads, with rescuers unable to reach them.

The Israeli army resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18, resulting in 3,986 deaths and 11,451 injuries, effectively ending a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that had been in place since January.

In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice concerning its actions in the enclave.
