Gaza: At least 61,722 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's ongoing war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, according to a statement from the Health Ministry on Wednesday. The statement detailed that 123 bodies were brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours, with 437 people injured, increasing the total number of injuries to 154,525 since the conflict began.

According to Anadolu Agency, many victims remain trapped under rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams struggle to reach them. The ministry highlighted that 21 Palestinians were killed and 185 others injured by Israeli strikes while attempting to receive humanitarian aid in the last day. This brings the total number of Palestinians killed while seeking aid to 1,859, with more than 13,594 wounded since May 27.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen, as the ministry reported the deaths of eight people, including three children, from famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours. This raises the total death toll from starvation to 235, which includes 106 children.

The Israeli military resumed its attacks on March 18, resulting in 10,201 fatalities and 42,484 injuries, ending a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement established in January. The conflict has drawn international attention, with the International Criminal Court issuing arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Furthermore, Israel is currently facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the enclave.
