Germany: Germany is seeking to improve its relations with Trkiye, German diplomatic sources reported. President Frank-Walter Steinmeier is scheduled to visit Trkiye on Feb. 5, where he will meet President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara.

According to Anadolu Agency, German officials noted that recent developments in Syria have further elevated Trkiye's importance in the region. They said Steinmeier believes initiating an inclusive process in Syria is crucial and aims to enhance cooperation with Trkiye.

Steinmeier will also visit Saudi Arabia and Jordan as part of his itinerary.
