Istanbul: The Global Zero Waste Forum, currently taking place in Istanbul, has successfully convened numerous experts to respond to "nature's call" and outline a new path for humanity, according to Trkiye's first lady, Emine Erdogan. She emphasized the collaborative effort in her statement on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, highlighting the collective resolve for the world.
According to Anadolu Agency, the forum has positioned Istanbul at the forefront of a vision for an inclusive future. Erdogan expressed her aspiration that the event would bolster the determination to ensure a sustainable world for future generations. Running from October 17 to October 19, the forum gathers UN officials, international experts, and policymakers to deliberate on global zero waste policies and strategies for sustainable development.
