Ankara:The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has condemned the recent missile and drone attacks launched by the Houthi group on Saudi Arabian cities, including Riyadh and Khamis Mushait.
According to Anadolu Agency, The GCC's Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi described the escalation as a serious breach of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and a direct threat to civilian safety and regional stability. He emphasized the GCC's continued support for Saudi Arabia's right to take necessary actions to protect its security and territorial integrity.
Albudaiwi also called on the international community to adopt a decisive stance and hold the Houthis accountable for their actions. Prior to the GCC's statement, the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen reported intercepting two ballistic missiles and two drones that were launched towards Saudi Arabia by the Houthi group.
