Trappes:One person was killed and four others were injured in a shooting incident in northern France. The attack occurred on Friday morning, as announced by Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu.

According to Anadolu Agency – English, the Prime Minister stated that "very serious incidents" took place in Trappes, within the Yvelines department. An individual has been arrested and is currently in police custody. The National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office is closely monitoring the evolving situation.

The suspect reportedly discharged multiple rounds in public areas, initially in Trappes and subsequently in La Verriere, as reported by broadcaster BFMTV. Authorities caution that the death toll may change as the situation continues to develop.
