Haaland Signs New 10-Year Contract with Manchester City

Manchester: Manchester City announced Friday that Erling Haaland has signed a new 10-year contract with the English Premier League club. The 24-year-old striker will stay with the Sky Blues until the summer of 2034, according to a club statement.

According to Anadolu Agency, Haaland expressed his satisfaction with the new agreement, stating, "I am really happy to have signed my new contract and to be able to look forward to spending even more time at this great Club." He further highlighted the club's supportive environment, noting, "Manchester City is a special Club, full of fantastic people with amazing supporters and it's the type of environment that helps bring the best out of everybody."

Haaland's tenure at Manchester City has been marked by significant achievements since joining from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022. He has received numerous accolades, including the Premier League Golden Boot, the PFA Player of the Year prize, the Premier League Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards, and the Football Writers' Association Player of the Year. Haaland also played a crucial role in Manchester City's historic treble-winning season, securing the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League trophies in the 2022-23 season.
