Gaza city: The Palestinian group Hamas accused Israel on Sunday of repeatedly violating a Gaza ceasefire agreement, leading to the deaths of at least 46 Palestinians since the deal came into force on Oct. 10.

According to Anadolu Agency, Hamas released a statement claiming that the Israeli occupation forces targeted civilians in areas where movement was permitted, resulting in the deaths of 46 individuals and injuries to 132 others. The statement revealed that half of the victims were children, women, and elderly people, including the Abu Shaban family, which was entirely wiped out, comprising seven children and two women.

Hamas accused Israel of attempting to undermine the ceasefire agreement and continuing its policy of aggression. Despite the ceasefire, Hamas emphasized that Israel blocks the entry of essential goods such as food and medical supplies, and delays the release of women and minors still in detention. It also noted that Israel has not provided a complete list of prisoners or the bodies of Palestinians still withheld.

Hamas reported that Israel returned the remains of 150 Palestinians, some of whom showed signs of being handcuffed, strangled, or crushed under military vehicles. Despite these violations, Hamas affirmed its commitment to the ceasefire agreement, stating it is implementing the agreement with precision and responsibility.

The group called on mediators and guarantors to urge Israel to adhere to the agreement and halt actions that threaten to undermine it. The ceasefire and hostage swap agreement, reached on Oct. 10, was based on a phased plan presented by US President Donald Trump, which included the release of hostages and envisaged the rebuilding of Gaza without Hamas's governance.
