Gaza:Hamas announced its readiness to implement a Gaza roadmap agreed with the Board of Peace, while accusing Israel of obstructing the plan and ceasefire in the region.

According to Anadolu Agency, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem stated that the group is prepared to enact the roadmap concerning the peace plan in the Gaza Strip, claiming they have taken all necessary steps. He blamed the Israeli government for obstructing the ceasefire agreement and its associated roadmap by refusing to meet its commitments and escalating attacks on Palestinians in Gaza.

Qassem also criticized the Board of Peace and its high representative for Gaza, Nickolay Mladenov, for not compelling Israel to implement the agreement. He called for international forces' deployment under the ceasefire agreement and urged the US administration and the board to facilitate the technocratic committee's entry into Gaza to fulfill its duties.

The Board of Peace proposed a 15-point roadmap in July, outlining the disarmament of Hamas and other factions, the transfer of Gaza's administration to a Palestinian national committee, and a phased Israeli withdrawal. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the plan in August, demanding complete disarmament before any withdrawal.

Nickolay Mladenov informed the UN Security Council on August 26 that Hamas and other factions agreed to hand over their weapons and transfer authority to a Palestinian transitional administration. The roadmap involves disarmament administered by Palestinians, with weapons transferred to the Palestinian administration, not Israel.

The UN Security Council adopted Resolution 2803 in November 2025, endorsing a US-backed framework for Gaza's transitional administration and authorizing a temporary international stabilization force.
