Agreements between Cyprus and Greece in the field of transplants will be signed on Thursday in Athens an official visit that the Minister of Health, Michalis Damianos will pay to the Greek capital. According to a press release issued by the Health Ministry, Damianos departs for Athens on Wednesday where on Thursday, September 19th, he will sign two agreements in the field of transplants, with his Greek counterpart, Adonis Georgiadis. The first concerns kidney cross-transplantation, while the second agreement, in the field of lung transplants, establishes the framework for conducting transplants for adult Cypriot patients in Greece's transplant units.
