Makhachkala: Four people were killed in a helicopter crash near the village of Achi-Su in Russia's Dagestan region, the republic's Health Minister Yaroslav Glazov informed the state-run Tass news agency.

According to Anadolu Agency, the KEMZ helicopter was en route to Izberbash when it crashed. The incident resulted in the deaths of four individuals, while three others sustained serious injuries and have been hospitalized.

Officials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Dagestan mentioned that the helicopter crash led to the destruction of a private house. Fortunately, the house was unoccupied at the time of the crash, preventing further casualties.

Authorities are currently withholding the identities of the victims as investigations continue.
