Hezbollah Claims Six Attacks on Israeli Targets

Beirut: Hezbollah on Saturday announced that it carried out six attacks on an Israeli settlement, as well as on Israeli forces, vehicles, and military positions. This brings the total number of attacks by the group 'in response to Israeli aggression' to 1,422 since March 2 as of 0450GMT.

According to Anadolu Agency, Hezbollah stated that the attacks were conducted 'in defense of Lebanon and its people' amid an ongoing Israeli offensive on the country. The group reported targeting the Limon Barracks, located north of the Nahariya settlement in northern Israel, deploying attack drones for the operation.

Additionally, Hezbollah executed rocket attacks on Israeli soldiers and military vehicles at the Khalil Triangle in the border town of Maroun al-Ras, and in the Talat al-Sadr area in the town of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon. The group mentioned that fighters later targeted the vicinity of a helicopter landing site established by the Israeli army in Maroun al-Ras, meant for evacuating wounded soldiers.

Further clashes were reported near the Tahrir Triangle area in southern Lebanon, where Hezbollah claimed to have inflicted casualties on Israeli forces. In another strike, the group claimed responsibility for targeting an Israeli Merkava tank in the town of Houla in southern Lebanon with a guided missile.

As of now, there has been no official statement from Israel regarding any casualties resulting from the Hezbollah attacks.
