The President of the House of Representatives, Annita Demetriou, will pay an official visit to China between 8 and 13 October 2024, following an invitation by the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Zhao Leji. According to a press release from the House of Representatives, the President of the House is leading a high-level bipartisan delegation, consisting of the Secretary General of AKEL, Stefanos Stefanou, the President of the Democratic Party, Nicolas Papadopoulos and Democratic Rally parliamentary leader, Nicos Tornaritis.
