Houthis Threaten Strikes on Key Saudi Sites if Sanaa Is Targeted

Sanaa:Yemen's Houthis have issued a threat to launch attacks on key locations in Saudi Arabia, including Aramco's headquarters in Dammam, King Khalid International Airport, and the Aramco refinery in Riyadh, should Saudi Arabia conduct bombings in Sanaa. The group has cautioned civilians and employees to avoid Saudi oil facilities as a precautionary measure.

According to Anadolu Agency, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree declared that all Aramco oil facilities are considered 'legitimate targets' by the group's forces. He reiterated warnings to experts, engineers, and workers at these facilities, advising them to stay clear to ensure their safety.

Saree also repeated warnings to airlines, passengers, and airport personnel about the risks associated with airspace and airports that the Houthis have previously identified. The group has urged civilians to evacuate and avoid three specific sites that could be targeted if Saudi forces strike in Sanaa.

The potential targets mentioned by the Houthis include Aramco's headquarters in Dammam, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, and the Aramco refinery in the Saudi capital. This warning is part of the ongoing tensions between the Houthis and the Saudi-led coalition, which supports Yemen’s internationally recognized government.

On Tuesday, the Saudi-led coalition instructed civilians to leave the Yemen Petroleum Company's central al-Sabahah station in Houthi-controlled Sanaa, citing safety concerns ahead of a planned military operation.
