Hebron: Three Palestinian children were injured in attacks by illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank, while at least 40 Palestinians were detained in military raids in the occupied territory.

According to Anadolu Agency, illegal settlers attacked a Palestinian home in the town of al-Samu, south of Hebron, injuring three children and killing several sheep. This incident is part of a broader pattern of violence, as data from the Palestinian Authority's Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission revealed that illegal Israeli settlers carried out 621 attacks against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank in November alone.

In a separate operation, the Israeli army conducted military raids in multiple areas across the West Bank, resulting in the detention of 40 individuals and searches of several homes. The Palestinian Prisoners' Media Office reported that nine people were taken into custody in Tulkarem and Qalqilya in the northern West Bank. In the south, Israeli forces detained 31 Palestinians, including 22 from the town of Dura, south of Hebron, and nine from Tuqu, southeast of Bethlehem.

Israeli and Palestinian human rights organizations highlight that more than 9,300 Palestinians, including women and children, are held in Israeli prisons. Many detainees face abuse, starvation, and medical neglect, leading to multiple deaths. Palestinian figures indicate that since October 2023, Israeli forces and illegal settlers have killed at least 1,102 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, injured nearly 11,000, and detained around 21,000.

The International Court of Justice declared in a landmark opinion last July that Israel's occupation of Palestinian territory is illegal, urging the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
