East Nusa Tenggara: A volcano in Indonesia erupted once more, spewing ash and causing significant disruptions to flight operations in the region. Local airport authorities in East Nusa Tenggara canceled all international and domestic flights to and from Lombok Airport in West Nusa Tenggara. According to Anadolu Agency, the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki in East Nusa Tenggara led to the cessation of all flight activities at Lombok Airport. Arif Haryanto, an official at Lombok Airport, confirmed that flight routes connecting Lombok to international destinations such as Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, as well as domestic routes to Jakarta, Denpasar Bali, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Sumbawa, and Bima, experienced cancellations or delays. Evacuations continue in East Nusa Tenggara province, with authorities reporting that 12,200 displaced individuals have been relocated to safe areas. Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto, currently in the United States, chaired a meeting with senior officials to discuss the situat ion and coordinate relief efforts. Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki's eruption began on November 3, resulting in at least 10 fatalities and more than two dozen injuries. Indonesia, located along the "Pacific Ring of Fire," houses 130 active volcanoes, making it one of the most seismically active regions globally.
