Brussels: Seasonally adjusted industrial production increased by 0.4% in both the euro area and the EU in February compared to the previous month.
According to Anadolu Agency, on an annual basis, industrial production decreased by 0.6% in the euro area and by 0.1% in the EU in February compared with the same month of the previous year, as reported by Eurostat on Wednesday.
Ireland led the member states with the highest monthly increase, achieving a rise of 5.7%. Finland and Sweden followed with increases of 3.3% and 3.2%, respectively. Conversely, Malta experienced the largest decrease among member states, with a drop of 6%. Luxembourg and Greece also saw notable declines in production, with reductions of 4.6% and 2.1%, respectively.
