In another development, the United States has expressed its condemnation of violence by all parties in the occupied West Bank. The State Department criticized the escalating violence, particularly following Israeli forces' detention of at least 70 Palestinians and the injury of eight others in recent raids. A spokesperson emphasized the US administration's commitment to dialogue aimed at enhancing stability and security in the region.

At a news conference in Damascus, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres reiterated the UN's stance on Syria's territorial integrity, declaring any violations unacceptable. He urged the international community to act through the Security Council, asserting that the Golan Heights, occupied by Israel since 1967, remains Syrian territory. Guterres called for an end to Israeli violations and highlighted Syria's ongoing recovery and resilience following years of civil war.
