Istanbul: Delegations from Iran and the European countries of Britain, France, and Germany have concluded a second round of nuclear talks at Iran's Consulate General in Istanbul. The closed-door discussions lasted for over three hours, focusing on the ongoing issues surrounding the 2015 nuclear deal.

According to Anadolu Agency, representing Iran at the deputy foreign minister level were Majid Takht-Ravanchi and Kazem Gharibabadi. Iran had agreed to resume negotiations at the request of the European signatories of the 2015 nuclear deal, aiming to find common ground and move forward with the agreement.

The E3 group of Britain, France, and Germany had previously met with Iranian officials in Istanbul on May 16 for deputy foreign minister-level talks. The parties agreed to maintain dialogue in parallel with ongoing indirect negotiations between Iran and the US, highlighting the importance of continued communication.

Both US-Iran talks and the broader negotiation process with European parties were halted after Israel launched an attack on Iran on June 13. The recent discussions indicate a renewed effort to address outstanding issues and seek resolution following the disruption caused by external conflict.
