Iran Claims Downing of 13 US and Israeli Drones Across Multiple Regions

Ankara: Iran announced that it has shot down 13 advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) belonging to the US and Israel since Friday, according to an official statement. In a statement released by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Iranian authorities said the drones were intercepted in multiple regions across the country.

According to Anadolu Agency, the official statement detailed that the drones, identified as MQ-9, Hermes, and Orbiter types, were targeted by missile and artillery systems. The interceptions occurred in Iran's northwestern, western, and southern regions, as well as in Isfahan, Kerman, and Tehran.
