Ankara: Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced they employed innovative techniques to disrupt Israeli multi-layered defense systems during an eighth wave of operations on Monday, resulting in the systems targeting each other.
According to Anadolu Agency, the IRGC stated that the attack, described as "more powerful and devastating than before," leveraged enhanced intelligence and equipment capabilities. This strategy reportedly caused Israeli defense systems to malfunction, leading to internal targeting.
The IRGC emphasized that their technological advancements allowed them to maximize missile strikes on designated targets, despite what they described as "comprehensive US and Western support" for Israel's defensive technologies.
The operation was portrayed by Iran as fulfilling promises made by deceased commanders, with the IRGC claiming it demonstrated that "the calculations and assessments of the Zionist enemy and the Americans against Islamic Iran were completely wrong."
Furthermore, the IRGC issued a warning that future operations would be "effective, targeted and more devastating," targeting critical areas of what they termed the "fake regime," and vowed to continue these actions until its "complete destruction."
The recent strikes resulted in dozens of casualties on Monday and intensified the ongoing conflict that began with an Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear and missile facilities last Friday, which led to the death of top Iranian military commanders and scientists.
