Iran: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei announced on Tuesday that discussions between Iran and Oman regarding the strategic Strait of Hormuz are proceeding positively. The talks aim to develop mechanisms for managing shipping traffic efficiently in this crucial passageway.

According to Anadolu Agency, Baqaei conveyed that the negotiations have been positively assessed at both technical and political levels. He emphasized Iran's commitment to working with Oman to establish future arrangements that will effectively manage the shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.
