Iran Reports 15 Injured in Israeli Attacks, No Fatalities

Ankara: Iran’s emergency services chief announced that 15 individuals were injured in recent Israeli attacks, with no fatalities reported.

According to Anadolu Agency, Jafar Miadfar, head of Iran’s Emergency Organization, stated that 14 injuries occurred in Mahshahr County, located in the southwestern province of Khuzestan, while one person was injured in Tehran. Currently, one of the injured remains hospitalized, while the remaining 14 have been discharged after receiving necessary treatment.

Miadfar emphasized that no deaths have been reported and assured that Iran’s health system and emergency services are on full alert, prepared to provide medical assistance if further attacks occur.

The situation escalated on Sunday when Israel bombed Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, despite a ceasefire. This prompted Iran to retaliate by launching missiles at northern Israel, leading to several waves of Israeli airstrikes against Iran.

Iran’s military announced early Monday that it was ceasing its attacks on Israel, warning of a ‘crushing’ response if Israeli attacks on Lebanon persisted. Meanwhile, Israeli media, referencing unnamed officials, reported that Israel agreed to stop airstrikes on Iran but intends to continue its offensive in southern Lebanon.
