Brussels: Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 50 individuals have died and over 500 have been injured following US strikes since June 27. Among the deceased are five women and two children and teenagers under 18, according to Hossein Kermanpour, head of the Health Ministry's Public Relations and Information Center. His statement was disseminated via US social media platform X.

According to Anadolu Agency, the injured include 32 women and 18 children and teenagers. The ongoing hostilities in the Middle East highlight the persistent tensions between the US and Iran as both nations continue to engage in military exchanges.

Efforts to de-escalate the situation have been challenged despite a Pakistan-brokered memorandum of understanding signed in June aimed at ending the conflict and establishing a lasting peace agreement.
