Tehran:All flights operated by Iranian airlines to the United Arab Emirates have been canceled since midnight, as reported by the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA).

According to Anadolu Agency, a Tehran-Dushanbe flight was forced to return to Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran after Turkmenistan did not grant permission for Iranian airlines to fly through its airspace.

The Iranian Civil Aviation Organization spokesman stated that the flight could not land at its destination because of Turkmenistan's refusal to allow Iranian airlines to cross its airspace, necessitating its return to Tehran.
