Iran Warns Trump: Ending Wars Requires More Than Tweets

Tehran: Iran's top security official, Ali Larijani, has issued a stern warning to US President Donald Trump, stating, "Starting wars is easy; ending them cannot be done with just a few tweets." Larijani's remarks came in response to Trump's recent comments about the ongoing conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran.

According to Anadolu Agency, Larijani took to the US social media platform X to further express Iran's stance, saying, "We will not leave you until you admit your mistake and pay the price." This statement underscores the escalating tensions in the region, following recent attacks.

The conflict has intensified since February 28, when Israel and the US launched a joint attack on Iran. The strikes have reportedly resulted in over 1,300 deaths, including the killing of Iran's then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and have left more than 10,000 individuals injured, as per Iranian authorities.

In retaliation, Tehran has executed drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. This regional escalation continues to pose significant challenges to diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation.
