Moscow: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is expected to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday in Moscow, according to reports from NBC News and Axios.

According to Anadolu Agency, Araghchi, in an interview with NBC News in Geneva following talks with top European diplomats, stated that Iran is ready to negotiate but insisted that Israel must halt its aerial attacks first. When questioned about the possibility of reaching a deal with the United States within a two-week timeframe, he remarked that it depends on the Trump administration's willingness to pursue a negotiated solution.

Araghchi further expressed concerns over the intentions of the US, suggesting that they might have a different plan in mind and might be considering an attack on Iran regardless of the negotiations. He implied that the US might be using the negotiations as a cover-up for their intentions, especially in light of the Israeli air attacks.

He also conveyed a sense of mistrust towards the US, criticizing the Trump administration's actions as a betrayal to diplomacy. This meeting in Moscow is seen as a critical junction in the ongoing diplomatic efforts involving Iran, Russia, and other global powers.
