The attacks caused slight damage to an administrative building in the Nobonyad area. Meanwhile, in Nigeria, at least 102 individuals were killed in a pre-dawn attack on the Yelewata community in Benue State. Local officials and witnesses reported that armed men, suspected to be criminal herders, stormed the area late Friday night and continued their assault into early Saturday. The president of the Association of United Farmers Benue Valley, Dennis Denen Gbongbon, stated that over 100 others are in critical condition at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital in Makurdi.
