Tehran: The Iranian people "have created an extraordinary scene" by defending their "humanity, rights, nation, and territorial integrity" in the face of continued US attacks, the nation's president stated on Saturday.

According to Anadolu Agency, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the unwavering spirit and resilience of the Iranian populace amidst ongoing hostilities. He praised the nation's citizens for their steadfast defense and noted that the streets have remained vibrant and active, defying any external pressures.

In a statement shared on the US social media platform X, Pezeshkian criticized remarks made by the US President, who labeled Iran's efforts as employing artificial intelligence for disinformation. He challenged US assertions by inviting foreign journalists to witness the genuine commitment of Iranian people in defending their sovereignty and rights.

The geopolitical tensions have intensified following US-Israeli military actions against Iran, which began on February 28. In response, Tehran has launched multiple drone and missile attacks targeting Israel and Gulf nations that accommodate US military forces.
