Tehran: Iran's approval of a proposed agreement with the United States is reportedly on the rise after Washington accepted a text put forward by Tehran, according to Fars News Agency. The agency highlighted that with the United States' acceptance of Iran's proposed text, there is a significant possibility that Tehran's highest decision-making authorities will approve the agreement.

According to Anadolu Agency, the report emerged shortly after US President Donald Trump announced the cancellation of planned military strikes against Iran. President Trump stated on Truth Social that discussions and final points had been agreed upon by all parties involved, including key regional players such as Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and Egypt. He emphasized that the naval blockade would remain until the transaction is finalized, with the time and place of the signing to be announced soon.

In a related development, US forces conducted a second day of strikes against multiple targets in Iran following the downing of an Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz. In response, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for striking 18 major US military targets, including air bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan. This latest escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions following US strikes and Iran's declaration of closing the Strait of Hormuz to maritime traffic.
