Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Pledges Intensified Operations Against Israel Following US Strikes

Tehran: Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) vowed Monday to expand its attacks against Israel, a day after US strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites. According to Anadolu Agency, Ebrahim Zolfaqari, a spokesman of the Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters, the IRGC's construction wing, stated in a video message that the United States had violated Iran's sovereignty by supporting Israel and directly engaging in conflict with Iran. He accused the US of conducting strikes on Iranian sites to bolster Israel's position. The spokesman announced that Iran would respond to the US attack with "powerful and targeted operations" that could have "unpredictable consequences." The US strikes targeted nuclear sites in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan, as confirmed by US President Donald Trump. This development marks a significant escalation in the ongoing US-backed Israeli military operations against Iran, which began on June 13. In response, Iran has launched missile attacks on Israel, resulting in at least 25 deaths and h undreds of injuries, according to Israeli authorities. In Iran, the Israeli assault has led to the deaths of 430 people and injuries to more than 3,500, as reported by the Iranian Health Ministry.
