Tehran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei announced that the management of the Strait of Hormuz will ‘certainly enter a new phase.’ He also declared that Tehran will pursue compensation for war-related damages.

According to Anadolu Agency, the message was released on the 40th day since the death of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, marking a significant moment for the Iranian nation. Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei’s address portrayed his leadership as a continuation of his father’s legacy.

Khamenei emphasized a strategic shift in managing the Strait of Hormuz, though he did not provide further details. He stressed Iran’s intention to hold aggressors accountable for war damages, pledging to seek compensation for losses and the lives affected by the conflict.
