Istanbul: Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Thursday claimed victory over Israel during their 12-day war. 'With all that clamor, with all those claims, the Zionist regime, under the blows of the Islamic Republic, has almost collapsed and been crushed,' Khamenei said in a televised message to Iranian people posted on his official X account.

According to Anadolu Agency, Khamenei further added, 'I offer my congratulations on the victory over the fallacious Zionist regime.' The remarks were made in the context of a conflict that spanned nearly two weeks, during which both sides have exchanged claims of success and resilience.
