Islamic Solidarity Fund and SESRIC Forge New Partnership Through MoU

Istanbul: The Islamic Solidarity Fund (ISF) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the 21st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States. The event took place on June 22, 2025, in Istanbul, Turkey.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the MoU was signed by His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Sulaiman Aba Al-Khail, Executive Director of the ISF, and Her Excellency Ms. Zehra Zmrt Selcuk, Director General of SESRIC. This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the ISF and SESRIC in areas that are of mutual interest, facilitating collaborative efforts and resource sharing to benefit the Islamic community.

This partnership is expected to leverage the strengths of both institutions, enhancing their capacity to provide support and development in the Islamic world. The collaboration marks a significant step towards achieving shared goals in economic, social, and statistical research and training.
