A joint stamp issue, dedicated to aerial firefighting, was released by the Cyprus Post and the Israel Postal Company, the Israel Embassy announced on Friday with a post on Twitter. The commemorative stamp edition features a firefighting aircraft in action.

'Cyprus Post an Israel Postal Company released a joint commemorative edition for the cooperation of in the aerial firefighting', announced the Israeli Embassy. 'Through the existing cooperation agreement, Israel and Cyprus aid each other by dispatching firefighting teams, gear and aircrafts to help combat massive wildfires', reads the announcement.

Concluding, the Embassy notes that 'the growing collaborations between the two countries, based on mutual respect for common values, express the depth and significance of the bilateral relations.'
