Israel Kills Head of Iran Revolutionary Guards’ Special Operations Division: Media

Tel aviv: The Israeli army reportedly killed Rahman Moqaddam, the head of Iran's Revolutionary Guards' special operations division, according to claims made by Israeli media on Wednesday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported the killing of Moqaddam but did not provide additional details regarding the operation. Channel 12 alleged that Moqaddam was responsible for an assassination attempt on US President Donald Trump in 2024.

The incident occurs amidst a large-scale attack by Israel and the US on Iran, which began on Saturday. This military action has resulted in nearly 900 casualties, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and other top military officials. In response, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf countries that host US assets.
