Israel Strikes Iran’s Defense Ministry Headquarters in Tehran

Tehran: Israeli airstrikes targeted Iran's Defense Ministry's headquarters in Iran's capital Tehran, the Iranian semi-official news agency Tasnim reported on early Sunday. The attacks targeted the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics headquarters in the Nobonyad area, causing slight damage to an administrative building. There was no immediate comment from the Iranian Defense Ministry.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli military stated that the air force conducted an "extensive series of strikes" in Tehran related to Iran's "nuclear weapons project." The Israeli forces targeted "the Iranian Ministry of Defense headquarters, the headquarters of the SPND nuclear project" along with other targets, as stated on X. Additionally, Israeli forces struck the Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research during separate attacks in the same area.

In the early hours of Friday, Israeli forces attacked Iran, hitting nuclear and missile facilities and killing top military commanders and scientists. In response, Iran launched ballistic missiles targeting several areas across Israel, resulting in casualties and structural damage.
