Algiers: Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune declared that Israel's aggressive actions are aimed at making life unbearable in the Gaza Strip, but emphasized that such aggression 'will not bring about the end of Palestine.'

According to Anadolu Agency, Algeria's Minister of Mujahideen and Rights-Holders, Abdelmalek Tacherift, conveyed Tebboune's message during an event in Algiers commemorating the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, observed annually on November 29. In his statement, Tebboune highlighted that Israel's ongoing aggression against Palestinians is a blatant violation of international law and humanitarian principles.

Tebboune pointed out that Israel is not only making life difficult in Gaza but also seizing Palestinian territories in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. He stated that Israel's persistent aggression aims to dismantle Palestinian infrastructure, target the healthcare system, impose blockades, and disregard international law.

He urged the international community to take decisive action to ensure Israel adheres to international law, lifts the blockade on Gaza, and opens all border crossings to facilitate humanitarian aid. Tebboune reaffirmed Algeria's commitment to supporting Palestine's bid for full UN membership, viewing it as essential for Palestinian self-determination and statehood.

Tebboune assured that Algeria will continue to stand by the Palestinian people, advocating for their legitimate rights until they achieve full sovereignty and establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
