Gaza city: Two Palestinians were killed and three others injured in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City, a medical source reported, highlighting a breach of last year's ceasefire agreement.

According to Anadolu Agency - English, the strike targeted a house in the al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, an area from which the Israeli army had previously withdrawn as part of the ceasefire deal. The Israeli army has claimed that its forces were attacked in northern Gaza, prompting the airstrike.

Since October 2023, the Israeli army has been involved in a brutal offensive that has resulted in the deaths of more than 71,400 people, predominantly women and children, and left over 171,000 others injured, devastating the enclave. Despite the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025, the Israeli army has continued its offensive actions, resulting in the deaths of 424 Palestinians and injuries to 1,189 others, according to the Health Ministry.
