Deir El-Zahrani: A Lebanese individual was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle in the town of Deir El-Zahrani, located in southern Lebanon, as reported by the Health Ministry. This incident marks a new breach of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Health Ministry's Emergency Operations Center confirmed the victim's death occurred during the airstrike on a vehicle in Deir al-Zahrani, part of the Nabatieh district. Despite the ceasefire agreement established in November, Israeli forces have continued their operations in southern Lebanon, citing intentions to target Hezbollah activities.

The truce had initially put an end to months of cross-border conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, which escalated into a significant confrontation in September. However, Lebanese authorities have documented nearly 3,000 Israeli violations of the ceasefire, resulting in over 200 fatalities and at least 500 injuries since last November.

As part of the ceasefire agreement, Israel was expected to withdraw completely from southern Lebanon by January 26. However, the deadline was extended to February 18 due to Israel's refusal to comply. Currently, Israel maintains a military presence at five border outposts.
