Israeli Airstrikes Across Gaza Result in 31 Palestinian Casualties

Gaza City: The Israeli army conducted airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of at least 31 Palestinians, sources reported. In one of the attacks, medical sources confirmed the receipt of three bodies, including two children, and several injured individuals at Nasser Medical Complex following an Israeli assault on a house in Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

According to Anadolu Agency, eight individuals were killed when an Israeli warplane targeted a home in the Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. Additionally, ten people lost their lives in a strike on a school sheltering displaced individuals in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in northeastern Gaza City. The Israeli army later acknowledged targeting the school, stating it was used by Hamas and Islamic Jihad groups.

In Jabalia, a child was killed in an Israeli airstrike on a home, with several others injured, as reported by a medical source. In southern Gaza, two Palestinians were killed, and several others injured in separate strikes in eastern Khan Younis and Al-Mawasi in the western city area. Another Palestinian was killed, and five others injured in a separate strike on a tent in the Al-Mawasi area.

Witnesses reported that five individuals were injured in a strike on a tent for displaced people in Bani Suhaila, eastern Khan Younis. The Israeli army also opened heavy machine gun fire toward residential areas in eastern Gaza City and the eastern areas of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israel resumed its offensive on the Gaza Strip on March 18, abandoning a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement established in January. The ongoing conflict has resulted in the deaths of over 51,300 Palestinians since October 2023, with the majority being women and children.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the enclave.
