Tubas: The Israeli army has enacted a complete closure of the last remaining access route to Khirbet Ras al-Ahmar, a Palestinian village located southeast of Tubas in the northern West Bank. This action has resulted in the isolation of 47 Palestinian families for the fifth consecutive day.

According to Anadolu Agency, the closure follows more than two months of restrictions on all dirt roads leading to the village. Thaer Basharat, a local resident, reported that the siege has been progressively tightening over the past three years. The situation reached a critical point when the Israeli army excavated a trench across the last route accessible only to livestock and agricultural machinery.

Basharat described the village as a "cage" encircled by trenches, walls, and military zones. The community, heavily reliant on livestock farming, faces severe challenges as they are unable to procure essential goods and feed for their animals. The once expansive grazing land of 360,000 dunams has seen 90% seized or restricted, compounding the difficult conditions for local farmers.

Basharat further indicated that the pressure applied by Israeli forces appears aimed at forcibly displacing the village's population. The escalation of attacks on Palestinians and their properties in the West Bank has been notable since the Gaza conflict in October 2023. Israel has maintained occupation of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since the 1967 Middle East war.
