Gaza: A Palestinian man was injured by Israeli gunfire in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied East Jerusalem, while 11 people were detained during military raids across the West Bank, medics and witnesses reported.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Palestine Red Crescent Society issued a statement confirming that its teams treated a young Palestinian who was shot in the thigh by Israeli forces near a separation wall in Al-Ram before he was hospitalized. The statement did not provide further details regarding the cause of the shooting. The Israeli army is known to target Palestinian workers attempting to climb the separation wall to access work inside Israel.

In related incidents, Israeli army forces detained six Palestinians in the West Bank city of Ramallah, including a 13-year-old child and an elderly man, after raiding their homes and causing property damage, as reported by the official news agency Wafa. Additionally, witnesses reported that five more Palestinians were arrested in the southern city of Hebron during similar operations.

Meanwhile, Wafa reported that illegal Israeli settlers cut down dozens of olive trees on Palestinian farmland in the village of al-Minya near Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank. The attack followed an incident where illegal settlers allegedly assaulted the owner of the trees, breaking his hand, before he was arrested by Israeli army forces.

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, illegal Israeli settlers have conducted over 7,000 attacks against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank since Israel's war on Gaza commenced in October 2023. These attacks include 158 assaults targeting olive pickers this month alone.

In a significant development, the International Court of Justice declared last July that Israel's occupation of Palestinian territory is illegal, urging the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
